Outline of Research at the Start	従来法では把握することが困難だった樹上生態系の網羅的把握を迅速かつ低コストで実現するため，樹幹流を利用した生物多様性モニタリング法の基盤技術開発を目的とする。技術開発にあたっては近年著しい発展を遂げている環境DNAメタバーコーディング法を応用し，目視観察が容易な地衣類をモデルに用いることで，本モニタリング法の性能 (再現性) を検証する。予備的研究の結果，新たに浮き彫りになった技術的課題を解決することにより，本格的適用を目指した調査法と実験法の基盤技術を確立する。また，地衣類以外の樹上生多様性モニタリングについても予備的解析を行い，樹上生態系の包括的把握の可能性を探る。
