Outline of Research at the Start	地域での利活用が求められているメタンを主成分とするバイオガスや温泉付随ガスは、発生量の調整の困難さや有効利用方法が未確立であることにより、余剰ガスが発生するという問題がある。本研究は、この「地域余剰メタン」の貯蔵媒体として「包接水和物」を活用するための原理の解明を行う基礎学術研究である。本研究では、包接水和物の分解特性を調査し、自然冷熱を利用して制御可能な温度環境での包接水和物のガス貯蔵安定性を解明する。これにより、包接水和物が持つガス貯蔵機能を高度化し、省エネルギー的な地域余剰メタンの貯蔵のための「包接水和物の結晶機能活用指針」の確立を目指す。
