Outline of Research at the Start |

Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In our first year of research, we explored the impact of lifestyle differences, such as living locations and income levels, on carbon footprints across various income groups. This led to publications that enhance our understanding of household carbon emission reduction potentials. Our studies highlighted Japan's demographic challenges and the potential of electric vehicle adoption for emissions reduction. We also investigated carbon footprint inequality through household time use patterns, providing insights into sustainable living practices. This work lays the groundwork for policy discussions and lifestyle changes crucial for climate change mitigation, emphasizing the need for actionable strategies towards sustainability.
