Outline of Research at the Start

工業製品に付加価値を与えるコンセプトとして広く認識されている”高級感”においては，色彩に加えて特に「つや，光沢感」「高輝感(きらきら)」の質感の定量化が強く求められている．質感の一般的な評価方法として被験者が対象物を実際に見る官能試験があるが，近年では「対象物-カメラ/ディスプレイ-観察者」と2次元画像情報を介して対象物を見る機会が増加している．本研究では，物理的な原理および考察に基づいて[対象の表面構造・光学特性]と[エリアセンサで得られる2次元情報]と[質感]の三者の関係性を明らかにし，新たな質感評価方法の確立を目指す．
