Outline of Research at the Start

現在は古典絵画のような描き方を知りたいと思った時に、教員でさえ、どのように古典絵画の技法を観察したら良いのかわからないという実情がある。近年は文化財保存学が発展し、科学的データを絵画研究に取り入れることが一般的となったが、絵画制作分野においてはこれら研究があまり認知されていない。本研究は美術の学際的研究の一助となることを目指す。対象作品は、Lucas Cranach the Elder《ゲッセマネの祈り》とし、光学調査データの観察と熟覧観察、再現模写という3つの研究手法を用いて、描き手順を導き出し、絵画制作者の立場からドイツ・ルネサンス絵画の新たな特徴を見出すことを目的とする。
