外国語を使用する上で熟語の重要性は広く認識されているものの、その指導は黎明期にあり、的確かつ効率的な指導がなされているとはいいがたい。本研究ではそのための基礎資料として、スペイン語における熟語の使用頻度とその使用上の特徴を明らかにすることを目的とする。真に使用頻度の高い熟語 = 各学習レベルにおいて重要な熟語を明らかにし、公開することでスペイン語教育における熟語の指導をより的確かつ効率的なものにすることが本研究の狙いである。分析にはコーパスを用い、適宜インフォーマント調査を行うことで、質と量、両面からのアプローチを試みる。

24 年度は主に以下の二点の論文に係る研究に注力した。
Tsutahara, R. (2024). De manera/forma/modo + modificador -su fraseologicidad: sus similitudes y diferencias. Studia Romanica, 57, 1-16
Tsutahara, R. (2024).Discursivizacion de las construcciones con el verbo decir. Hispanica, 68, 21-49.
前者は高頻度熟語 De manera/forma/modo 、後者は高頻度発話動詞である decir を核とする、談話標識や間投詞としての機能を持つ熟語を対象とした記述的な研究である。これら二点の研究の目標は、学習者による熟語の使用を円滑、正確にすることにある。スペイン語の熟語を収集する中で、使用が非母語話者にはわかりづらい物が多数あることが明らかになっており、両研究で取り上げた熟語はそれに該当する。こうした熟語の実使用を定量的に分析し、また、ものによってはその語源、それらを作り出すメカニズムを分析することで、そうした熟語の意味、統語、語用論上の特異性に一定の規則性が潜んでいることを明らかとした。こうした知見を研究機関を通して作成する熟語リストに反映することでより有意義な資料となることが期待される。

熟語とその使用頻度を抽出しつつ、使用に難しい部分のあるものは個別に、言語学的手法で分析し適切な解説をつける、というサイクルで本研究をすすめることができた。
