Outline of Research at the Start |
In this research, I will investigate indirect effects in labor markets in response to labor market policy changes. I will empirically clarify possible indirect effects of labor market policy changes and determine the policy implications for future reforms by using individual-level data and exploiting a quasi-experimental design in Japan.
|
Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
To investigate indirect effects in labor markets in response to labor market policy changes, I collected the data that are necessary for this research and started empirical analysis using data. The analysis of indirect effects of labor market policy changes is important, because without considering such indirect effects or externalities, policymakers may implement inefficient policies and unintentionally benefit or harm certain groups. I'll continue research in the fiscal year 2024, and it is expected that basic results will be available.
