Outline of Research at the Start

児童期の不安の問題は、なるべく早い段階で治療を提供することが重要である。保護者による認知行動療法は英国で開発された治療法であり、児童への負担を抑えつつ不安症状を治療することが可能なプログラムである。日本の児童においても実施可能なことが明らかになっているが、文化差が反映されておらず、日本の児童にとって最適なプログラムとは言い難い。本研究では、日本の児童および保護者に合わせて保護者による認知行動療法プログラムを改良し、どのような児童に対して特に有効であるかを検討する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2025年度は保護者の過保護傾向を測定するための尺度の日本語版の開発研究論文が、国際雑誌「Child Psychiatry & Human Development」に掲載された。この研究では、豪州で開発されたParent Overprotection Measure (POM)の日本語版を開発し、母親および父親報告の因子不変性、尺度の信頼性の検討を行った。分析の結果、保護者間で尺度の因子不変性が支持された。また尺度の高い信頼性が示された。欧米で開発された原版POMと異なり、POM日本語版は子どもの不安症状と有意な相関を示さなかったことから、日本人の保護者の過保護傾向は欧米などの保護者と異なる特徴を示す可能性が支持された。この結果を受けて、日本と英国の保護者の特徴と子どもの不安の関連に関する国際比較研究を実施中である。両国でのデータ収集は終了し、現在データ分析を行なっている。この研究では、保護者の特徴として、保護者の過保護傾向、自己効力感、不安傾向に関するデータを収集し、子ども不安症状との関連について、日本と英国間で比較を行う予定である。この研究では、まずそれぞれの尺度の日英間の因子不変性を確認する。次に、各国における保護者の過保護傾向、自己効力感および不安傾向と子どもの不安との関連を検討した後、日英における関連性の相違について検討を行う。本研究は、Open Science Frameworkにプロトコルを登録した上で、実施している。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

今後は、日英国際比較研究の論文執筆および不安の問題を抱える保護者に対する心理支援プログラムの介入試験の実施を進めていく。
