Outline of Research at the Start

液体金属薄膜を用いて、液相へのスピン角運動量注入の実証、スピン流注入による動的なナノレオロジー特性の実証を行う。スピントロニクスの中心概念は、スピン流と物質内の角運動量との相互変換にあり、力学的回転もその一つである。流動する液体金属の渦度（局所的回転）からスピン流を生成する実験、理論に基づき、その相反性によれば、液体にスピン角運動量を注入することで散逸的な渦度を生じさせ、注入界面における実効的な粘性の変化を与えられることが示唆される。そこで本研究では、固体で行われているスピントロニクスを、液体薄膜にまで拡張するとともに、スピン流を用いた角運動量変換による新たなナノレオロジー現象の開拓を目指す。
