Outline of Research at the Start

重症熱性血小板減少症候群 (Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome, SFTS) ウイルスは、他の出血熱ウイルスとは異なり、形質芽球に分化傾向を示すB細胞を感染標的とする独自の感染様式をもつ。しかし、B細胞はSFTSウイルスの既知の侵入レセプターを持たないため、なぜSFTSウイルスがB細胞に感染できるのかが不明である。本研究では、SFTSウイルスがB細胞への感染・侵入に必要な宿主因子の網羅的探索法を確立し、B細胞特異的な新規侵入因子同定を目指す。
