Outline of Research at the Start	膵癌は予後不良だが、近年は個別化治療に期待されている。しかし、癌パネル検査は高コストで長時間を要し、治療到達率は数%と少なく、膵癌全例に施行するのは非効率的である。申請者は以前、膵癌診断の組織採取法である超音波内視鏡下穿刺吸引術時に得られる迅速細胞診検体（ROSE検体）から癌パネル検査が可能であることを報告した。今回申請者は、ROSE検体とデジタルPCRを用いたKRAS遺伝子変異スクリーニングにより癌パネル検査の実施推奨度を低コスト、低侵襲、短時間で層別化可能と考え、その有用性を評価する。この手法によって、限られた医療費をより有効に活用しながら膵癌の予後改善に寄与することが出来ると考えている。
