Outline of Research at the Start

体細胞変異の蓄積はがんの原因として有名である。近年、がん以外の病態でも体細胞変異が役割を果たすことがわかってきた。また、最近、正常リンパ球に紫外線由来の変異が蓄積していることが判明した。慢性的な皮膚炎において、リンパ球が長期間皮膚で過ごして紫外線由来の変異を蓄積し、皮膚炎の病態に関与している可能性が考えられる。それを明らかにするため、慢性皮膚炎に存在するリンパ球の変異解析を行う。
