Outline of Research at the Start	近年，生体の老化が，老化細胞の蓄積により引き起こされることが明らかとなり，老化細胞に焦点をあてた老化研究が注目されている．加齢により老化細胞が増加することが知られているが，老化骨芽細胞が生体内で老年性骨粗鬆症にどのような役割を担っているかは明らかではない．本研究では，骨芽細胞の蛍光マウスや，老化細胞を蛍光・除去できるマウスを使用することで，老化骨芽細胞の老年性骨粗鬆症における役割を明らかとしたい．本研究により，老年性骨粗鬆症において，新たな治療として老化骨芽細胞への介入や，老化骨芽細胞評価による骨の老化度の計測など，革新的な研究着想に繋がると考えられる．
