Outline of Research at the Start

自閉スペクトラム症（ASD）は、対人相互作用の障害と限局性反復行動を中心にした神経発達症で、食行動異常を伴うこともある。しかし、ASDの味覚特性と食行動異常の関連については定量的に評価されていない。本研究では、味覚特性を評価し、食行動異常との関連性を検証する。また、ASDの臨床特性を考慮して、因果関係を探索することで、ASD児童の食行動異常と味覚特性のメカニズムを仮説立てることができる可能性がある。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、味覚の受容器である味蕾や末梢神経の機能の程度を評価できる検査法を用いて味覚特性を評価し、食行動異常との関連を検証する予定である。当該年度は、倫理審査申請書の作成および自閉症の評価・味覚の定量に必要な設備体制の準備につとめた。
