Outline of Research at the Start

Empowermentは，地域活動や交流を通じて自身の課題を認識し，解決に向けて自ら必要な資源に働きかけるプロセスで，社会参加の促進に重要な概念とされている．そのため，要支援高齢者においても地域への愛着やつながりの強化がEmpowermentを促進し，不活動の予防に有効と考えられるが，その理論的基盤は未だ確立されていない．
要支援高齢者の不活動予防は日本の重要課題の1つであり，本研究で要支援者の不活動の構造を解明することは，要支援者の社会参加を目指したプログラム開発の論理的基盤となり，不活動による疾病発症や医療・介護給付費増加の抑制に貢献する．
