Outline of Research at the Start

Oysters were shown to be good bioindicators for microplastic pollution. Due to demand oyster farms have been blooming. But, farms uses many plastic materials forming microplastics. Monitoring microplastic in farmed oysters and surround waters are important for food safety and source identification.
