Outline of Research at the Start

21世紀のエアモビリティには効率性、安全性、利便性に関するブレイクスルーが求められている。そのために、航空機設計に生物・鳥を模倣することを考え、表面（皮膚）で空気の流れを感じ、形を自在に変形させながら飛行する生物の鳥のような航空機を創造する。航空機の機体表面を流れる空気の圧力を面で計測する圧力アレイセンサーシステムと、そこから得られた情報と飛行状態に合わせて形状が最適に変化するモーフィング機能をもつ航空機を設計する。そしてそれを無人航空機の飛行によって実証する。実飛行という誰の目にも見える形で、21世紀の新しいエアモビリティを提示し、航空工学にパラダイムシフトを起こす。
