Outline of Research at the Start

スピン分解・角度分解光電子分光では、運動量分解した電子一つ一つのスピン状態を決定できるため、スピン流を直接的かつミクロに観察可能となる。本研究では特に、スピン分解可能なポンプ・プローブ角度分解光電子分光装置を駆使して、スピン偏極物質(トポロジカル絶縁体、ワイル半金属、カイラル半金属、ラシュバ表面創発物質)の非平衡スピンダイナミクスを解明し、光誘起スピンエンジニアリングへの学理的な基盤を構築する。物質の隠れた潜在能力を非平衡・準平衡状態に見出す新しい物質設計指針を確立し、レーザー駆動で創発制御される新奇スピン機能物性を開拓する。
