Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、①高効率なタンパク質ヒーターの開発、②細胞内オルガネラ選択的加熱の検証、③熱による細胞操作技術の開発の3つのステップで、新技術を創出する。①においては、熱伝導機構解明の知見に基づいて、熱放出速度の高いタンパク質を合理的に設計し、高効率なタンパク質ヒーターを作製する。分子内熱伝導の向上を計測から検証し、設計にフィードバックすることで熱伝導性の更なる向上を図る。②においては、①で開発したタンパク質ヒーターを細胞内分子ヒーターとして利用し、特定のオルガネラを選択的に加熱できることを検証する。③においては、②で開発したオルガネラ選択的細胞加熱技術を用いて、熱による細胞操作技術を開発する。
