Outline of Research at the Start

魚類での不稔化法には配偶子形成不全が一般的に用いられる。しかし、これらの方法では処理からの逸脱により稔性を有する個体が出現するリスクがある。また、配偶子を形成しないため不稔系統を樹立できない。本研究では受精現象に着目し、受精卵において精子が胚発生に関与しない方法を確立し、受精しても個体が母親由来のゲノムのみを持つために死亡すること（交配後接合前障壁）を利用した不稔化法を提案する。
