Outline of Research at the Start

2型自然リンパ球(ILC2)の多面的作用が示され、脂肪や動脈硬化での代謝改善作用が報告されている。研究代表者は、肝臓ILC2が糖放出を抑制し、血糖を下げることを見出した。しかしながら、その多様性とメカニズムは分かっていない。本研究は、シングルセル解析と一細胞間相互作用解析を用いた「ILC2の多様性発現機構と臓器特性の解明」を行い、糖尿病の新たな制御法と創薬基盤開発を目指す。シングルセルマルチオームと空間トランスクリプトーム解析を中心に、マウス代謝FluxとILC2核内の転写複合体解析を組み合わせて、メカニズム解明に挑む。免疫―代謝連関の新たな制御メカニズムと創薬シーズの提唱が期待できる。
