Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、200種以上のライブラリーを有するイオン液体を薬物送達体とし、「皮膚角質層の突破」及び「腸管上皮細胞の突破」という中分子医薬品を経皮・経口投与する際の最も大きな課題を一気に解決するための低侵襲投与法を開発する。研究代表者は、既にイオン液体によって中分子医薬品であるインスリン、がんペプチド、siRNAを経皮吸収させることに成功している。また、同様にGLP-1受容体作動薬（ペプチド性）の腸管吸収にも成功している。これらの成果を基盤とし、イオン液体の最適化などのブラッシュアップを行い、中分子医薬品を経皮・経口投与可能な革新的な吸収促進技術の完成を目指す。
