Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、美容・ファッション業界や教育の現場で文化人類学的な質的調査を行い、美的規範の創出・継承過程を分析することで「ルッキズム(見た目重視、 容姿至上主義)」の実態と構造的な差別との関係を明らかにすることである。3年間で日本を含む東アジア、インド、西ヨーロッパを中心に美容・ファッション業界やそれに関する教育業界で調査を行う。
