Outline of Research at the Start

学習管理システムの大規模ログデータを対象とした教育データマイニングの研究が注目されている． 研究代表者は解答などのログデータから学習者のスキル状態を推定する学生モデリングの研究を行ってきた． 本研究では，これを拡張し，学習者のモチベーションを予測する手法を開発する． これにより学習行動を予測し，学習者を早期に支援することが可能となる． プログラミング初学者はスキル習得状態の個人差が大きいため，授業理解度の低い学生を迅速に特定することが必要とされている． 本研究はプログラミング授業のログデータから学習行動を予測し，学習者の潜在的なモチベーションを推定し，学習者を支援するシステムの構築を試みる．
