Outline of Research at the Start	非周期的な原子配列からなる準結晶は周期結晶では許されない5回回転対称性などの特有回転対称性をもつ。その電子物性の解明は物性物理学のフロンティアである。準結晶において磁気長距離秩序が実現するか否かは長い間未解明であった。本研究では、準結晶における新奇磁性の開拓に挑戦する。具体的には、準結晶において、新奇磁気秩序を探索・同定する。さらに、同定した磁性相の素励起とダイナミクスを解明し、準結晶における磁気励起の概念を確立することをめざす。
