Outline of Research at the Start

世界中に広く分布する黄鉄鉱を含む酸性硫酸塩土壌は，有機酸などにより黄鉄鉱が酸化されることで硫酸が発生し，土木工学的諸問題の素因となる．しかしながら，黄鉄鉱の酸化は実地盤中で数十年と長い年月を要するため，酸性硫酸塩土壌の酸化・風化をタイムスケールから議論した研究はこれまでにない．
本研究では，強い酸化性，低い環境負荷，取り扱いの容易さから，鉱物製錬で近年利用されているオゾン酸化技術を用いて，地盤材料の酸化ならびに化学的風化作用を再現，期間短縮する手法を提案する．そして，地盤の酸化および風化現象を予測するマルチフィジックス解析技術を開発し，地盤環境および土木構造物の維持管理に資する．
