Outline of Research at the Start

有機半導体電子デバイスは、軽量・フレキシブル・安価などの特徴をもつ次世代デバイスである。有機半導体の特徴のひとつは、有機合成により多くの新物質が次々と開発されることにある。材料合成やデバイス設計には、これらの新物質の電子伝導準位を表す電子親和力を精密かつ迅速に予測することは極めて重要である。本研究は、代表者が開発した低エネルギー逆光電子分光法(LEIPS)により蓄積してきたデータに基づいて、機械学習による有機半導体の電子親和力の精密かつ迅速な予測法を確立する。成功すれば、有機半導体デバイス開発を飛躍的に加速する。
