Outline of Research at the Start	「どうすれば，土砂災害から命を守ることが出来るのか？」という社会の問いに対して，我々はいまだに答えを見出していない。その理由は，的中率4%という不確実性の高い土砂災害警戒情報に頼らざるを得ない技術水準にあったからである。本課題では，現行の土砂災害警戒情報に代表される“降水量を中心とした気象観測”から，先端IoT技術と地中センシング技術を応用することによって“発生源となる地中”へ観測事象転換を図ることにより，ステルス型の突発的土砂災害から命を守る行動をとることができる，リアルタイム危険度診断機能を実装したセンサネットワークシステムの開発と実証に挑む。
