Outline of Research at the Start	申請者は、「ステンレスボールと水を回転するのみで定量的に水素に変換する反応」を確立した。分子内に還元性官能基を持つ基質が共存すると、接触水素化反応も進行する。同様に、二酸化炭素からメタンへの還元も、メカノエネルギーを付与することで、定量的に進行することを見出している。本研究では、二酸化炭素を固定化した固体炭酸金属塩を、水あるいは水素を還元剤としてメタンに効率良く変換する方法を開発して、カーボンニュートラルに貢献することを目的としている。
