Outline of Research at the Start

多くの臓器の組織マクロファージは高齢者においては、骨髄から供給される。これまで我々は心臓において心臓マクロファージが心不全発症や心臓突然死発症に保護的な作用を有していることを示してきた。高齢者の心疾患発症において、造血幹細胞の変化がどのような影響を及ぼしているかについては不明な点が多い。本研究では、造血幹細胞と造血ニッチの変化に着目して検討を行い。骨髄が心疾患発症に対してどのような役割を果たしているか検討する。
