Outline of Research at the Start

現在、石炭と石灰岩を原材料として合成されているアセチレンを、木質バイオマスとアセチレン発生時に排出される汚泥から再生した石灰により合成する。
研究内容は木質バイオマスから得られるバイオコークスを木炭のように乾留して導電性を持たせ、放電電極として利用し反応に必要な高温を得ること、再生した石灰をバイオコークスの材料と混合して複合化バイオコークスとすることである。
アセチレンは化学製品の原料として重要なため、この研究は化学製品のカーボンニュートラルに繋がる。
