Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、新たな抗体デリバリー手法の開発を目指す。現在、抗体医薬は主に細胞外のタンパク質をターゲットとしているが、それは全タンパク質の3分の1に過ぎない。細胞内タンパク質も対象とすることが可能となれば、抗体の標的は3倍になることになる。しかしながら、それを実現する技術はまだ存在していない。そこで、本研究では、RNA、抗体、そして特定のペプチドを組み合わせた複合体を作り出し、それを脂質ナノ粒子(LNP)に封じ込める手法を試みる。これにより、抗体を細胞内へ効率的に届けることが可能となると期待される。
