本研究は、木管楽器奏者（サクソフォーンおよびクラリネット）の口腔の特徴や吹奏時にリードにかかる圧力の推移を調査することで、楽器吹奏と口腔との関係性を分析する。楽器熟達者に共通する特徴や、初心者に見受けられる諸問題を音楽的観点と歯学的観点の両方から分析することで、学習者が身に付けるべき演奏技術の追究や新たな練習指標の確立を目指す。
