Outline of Research at the Start |
Previous neuroimaging studies have focused on formal rules, neglecting rules that integrate semantic and phonologicalinformation with formal patterns, leading to biased models of L2 learning. To address these gaps, the current research project attempts toinvestigate the neural correlates of learning semantic and phonological nominal classification rules and the influence of working memory and language aptitude at the neural level during real-time learning.Theoretically, the results of the current study propose a model of the brain that encompasses a broad spectrum of language rule learning.
