Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、「子どもの貧困」対策を問題意識とした学校外の学習支援と居場所支援に携わる人々にとって、貧困とはどのような問題であるのかを明らかにすることである。
「子どもの貧困元年」と呼ばれる2008年以降、学校外の学習・居場所支援が数多くの団体によってなされている。先行研究では、これらの支援活動に対して研究者が用意した概念枠組みを当てはめて分析や評価をおこなってきた。それゆえ、当の支援活動に携わる人々がどのように貧困問題を捉えているのかが明らかにされていない。そこで本研究は、支援者の理解に即して貧困問題の理解を明らかにすることを目指す。
