Outline of Research at the Start

Communication is a cornerstone of animal behavior. To bind the translational gap between primates and rodents, EMG activity of the laryngeal muscles and optogenetic stimulation and ICMS will be performed to identify the laryngeal cortical control mechanisms in marmosets and rats.
