現代社会では、超高齢化が進み老人と若者の共存する形が模索され、外国人労働者が行き交い多文化が共生する形が模索され、Web社会の発展により間接的な人間関係が増えていく中で現実感のある関係の在り方が模索されている。社会には新たな課題が次々と生まれ、そこには当然、多様性への感性と受容が必要とされてくる。ダイバーシティ活性化という観点から見た現代のパフォーミング・アーツの可能性と限界を認識し、ダイバーシティの活性化要素を明らかにし、共同性感覚と個別性感覚を共存させるダイバーシティの在り方を、社会における多様性の受容と活性化に資するものとして分析・提言・発信していく。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Through this study, it has been reaffirmed that the ‘performative nature’ observed in performing arts does not merely serve as a means of conveying ideas, evoking emotions, or transmitting technical skills, but also plays a significant role in fostering mental preparedness for embracing diversity. When performance is experienced as something that poses questions and is related to one's own life, it promotes the activation of diversity acceptance awareness. Additionally, it has become clear that while learning effects exist when comfort and enjoyment are overly emphasised, this makes it difficult for actual acceptance of diversity to occur. Furthermore, it has been found that even in performances using VR and AR, diversity acceptance lacks reality.

社会がグローバル化すると共に、さまざまな傾向や資質や思想を持った人々が共存する時代において、本研究成果は、人々の多様性がどのように受容されていくのか、その心理学的な準備性を明らかにし、同時に、その受容の活性化に寄与するパフォーミング・アーツの内実を明らかにするものとなった。
この成果は、体験と思索と感情をみずからに結びつけることが、ダイバーシティを受容する意識性を育て、同時にパフォーマンスの現実性に注目することにより、多様性が受容され、多様な社会の実現に近づくことが明らかになった。この成果はこれからの多様で豊かな社会を実現することに資するものである。
