Outline of Research at the Start

従来、金融バブル研究においては、当該バブルが「合理的だったか否か」を巡る定量的分析が中心となっていた。しかしながら、近年になり「合理vs非合理」という非歴史的枠組みを疑問視する研究が増えてきた。その中でも、申請者は書簡と帳簿データを掛け合わせることで、富裕投資家層が当時の商業文化に根ざした認識バイアスに基づいて投資を行なっていたことを示した。以上の成果に基づき、本研究においては、南海泡沫事件の発生、収束、解明、反省の諸段階において、認識バイアスと社会的価値や政治・商業文化が、富裕層を含む諸般のアクターの行動にどのような影響を与えていたのかを明らかにする。
