Outline of Research at the Start

代数多様体の数論的基本群に関する数論幾何学の高次元化を進め、数論的基本群の群論的及び数論幾何学的構造とそれらの相互関係を解明する、というのが本研究課題の核心である。そのために、特に６つの具体的重要問題（アーベル多様体の数論的有限性、数論的基本群の線形表現の普遍下界性、アーベル多様体族の共通同種因子、可解遠アーベル幾何、正標数代数曲線の基本群のモジュライ依存性、アーベル多様体の離散的Shafarevich-Tate群）とその相互関係の究明を、海外共同研究者３名との３つの国際共同研究を通じて目指す。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

研究実施計画に記載の通り、当該年度に海外研究協力者のChristopher Rasmussen氏（２月に２週間）、Anna Cadoret氏（７月～９月に３か月弱）、Mohamed Saidi氏（前年度３月～６月に３か月弱、７月～９月に３か月弱、１月～３月に１か月強）の他経費による招へいを実現できた。（また、次年度の繰越期間中には、やはりRasmussen氏（１回）、Cadoret氏（１回）、Saidi氏（２回）の他経費による招へいを実現できた。）また、本経費の使用により、高尾尚武氏を研究員として雇用し、セミナーの運営等、代数多様体の数論的基本群に関する数論幾何学の研究を補助してもらうことができた。

具体的な研究実績としては、次のような成果をあげることができた。
1. Rasmussen氏との共同研究では、「研究の目的」R、C1に関連して、楕円曲線に付随するガロア表現の跡の像に関する普遍下界存在予想についての結果を改良した。また、「研究の目的」Rに関連して、予想に登場する「heavenly」なアーベル多様体についていくつかの新しい結果を得た。
2. Cadoret氏との共同研究では、「研究の目的」C1に関連して、l進、p進、超積の各係数に対する淡中圏論的Cebotarev密度定理についての結果を改良して発表した。また、「研究の目的」C2に関連して、共通同種因子を持つアーベル多様体の族について研究し、Rossler-Szamuelyの予想についての結果を改良して発表した。さらに、「研究の目的」C1に関連して、代数曲線の直積の数論的基本群のl進表現の普遍下界像の存在について部分的な結果を得た。
3. Saidi氏との共同研究では、「研究の目的」S1に関連して、有限生成体のm次可解遠アーベル幾何についての結果を改良し、数体に関する部分を発表した。

Reason

３名の海外研究協力者Rasmussen氏、Cadoret氏、Saidi氏との３つの共同研究を順調に進展させることができ、懸案だった成果の整理・発表（論文の執筆・投稿・修正・再投稿・出版・口頭発表）もある程度進んだ。

特に、上記「研究実績の概要」の通り、「研究の目的」R、C1、C2、S1についてさまざまな収穫があった。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

研究計画はおおむね順調に進展しており、基本的にはこのまま進めていけばよいと考えている。研究目的に沿って新しい研究結果を得ることはもちろん、次年度は、成果の整理・発表についても引き続き大きな力を入れたい。本研究計画は３名の海外研究協力者との３つの共同研究を中核としているが、今後も３つの共同研究のバランスに留意するとともに、３つの共同研究のいずれも、もとより代数多様体の数論的基本群を中心的対象とするものであることに立ち返り、諸問題の相互作用をいかすという視点に立って、研究を推進していきたいと考えている。
