| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究の目的は、自宅で療養する人々の生活をイメージしながら在宅療養者への質の高い医療・福祉に結び付ける力を育成するバーチャル教材システムの開発である。看護学生がこの教材を活用することで在宅療養者の生活を支える看護実践能力の向上を目指す。
具体的には、以下の3段階のプロジェクトで進める。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to develop a virtual teaching material system that fosters the ability to visualize the lives of people recuperating at home and to link this to quality medical care and welfare for those recuperating at home. By utilizing this educational material, we aimed to improve practical nursing skills to support the lives of people recuperating at home. In the first phase of the research, we extracted the care environment and support needs of medical caregivers and their families who are highly dependent on medical care, and in the second phase, we developed web-based teaching materials in line with the needs of the learners. In addition, a sustainable learning system was set up from basic education to continuing education through an e-portfolio. As a result, learners' metacognitive ability and critical thinking attitude increased with each grade, indicating the usefulness of teaching materials with an image of residents.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
看護実践の場が多様化する中で、看護学生が自宅での療養の場をイメージする力を身につけることは重要である。本研究では、デジタルネイティブ世代である看護大学生を対象に、バーチャルな町を想定したICT教材を開発することで、看護の対象が入院中だけではなく生活の場である町を踏まえて対象理解を深める教材開発を行った。その結果、本教材を活用した学生は、物事を俯瞰してとらえるメタ認知力の向上が示された。町をプラットフォームとしたWeb教材は、他の学問分野からの関心も寄せられているため、本教材の開発プロセスや運用方法を共有することは、Society5.0時代における地域医療人材育成に貢献すると考える。
