Outline of Research at the Start

都市の中で昆虫や鳥は、花粉媒介や種子散布による貴重な自然植生の維持など重要な役割を果たしている。近年、生物多様性の保全が重要視さ
れているが、都市生態系における植物と動物の種間相互作用を理解したうえでの都市緑化計画はほとんど行われていない。質の高い都市緑化促
進を推進するため、都市生態系を俯瞰的にとらえたうえで、都市の緑地の評価を行い、昆虫や鳥に配慮したエコロジカルネットワークを構築し
、都市緑地の役割やその適切な管理方法を定量的に示すシステム作りが大切である。本研究では、DNAバーコーディングを活用して、動物と植
物の関係性（生物間相互作用）を解明し、都市全体の生物多様性としての有効性を可視化する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

質の高い都市緑化促進を推進するため、都市生態系を俯瞰的にとらえたうえで、都市の緑地の評価を行い、昆虫や鳥に配慮したエコロジカルネットワークを構築し、都市緑地の役割やその適切な管理方法を定量的に示すシステム作りが大切である。本研究では、植物と昆虫および植物と鳥の相互関係に注目することにより、それぞれの都市緑地における植物の役割を都市生態系の観点から明らかにする。食物連鎖や、生物種間ネットワークに関わると思われる同一地域内の異種生物からのサンプルをDNAバーコーディングを活用して解析することにより、それぞれの植物が、どの他種生物と関係しているかがわかる。本研究では学術的な問いとして、「都市生態系における植物と動物の種間相互作用を理解したうえで、生物多様性に考慮した都市緑化の促進を行うには、どのような都市緑地計画を行えばよいのか」を設定した。

はちみつから花粉を取り出す方法の検討や最新のマルチプレックスバーコーディング法に予定していたよりも時間がかかったため。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2024年度は、研究の最終年度であるため、今まで集めてきたミツバチ、ムクドリ、ツバメの調査結果を分析して、どのように都市緑化に活かしていくのかについてまとめていく。また、マレーゼトラップを用いて都市の生物多様性を計測する方法について、マニュアル化する。また、スウェーデンでもデータを取ったため、国際的な指標に広げていくことを視野に入れて検討する。
