「程朱闕里」の地として、多くの思想家を輩出し、様々な思想資源を生み出した新安の地において繰り広げられた思想言説を通時的に分析し、土地に根付いた中国文化の豊饒性と独自性とを摘出することを通して、中国思想の特質を新たな視点から解明する。まず重点課題として、16世紀中期の新安の思想活動の実態を伝える『新安理学先覚会言』の精読に取り組む。同時に、各研究メンバーが各自の専門領域で共同研究の対象（陽明学）を、時代的（宋・元・清）、または、思想的（朱子学・考証学・反キリスト教）に拡充させた個別研究に従事することで、宋元明清期の新安理学の思想的特質を解明し、それを踏まえて中国近世思想の本質を考察する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Xin'an, being the original domicile of Zhu Xi of Southern Song, was regarded as a place where Zhu Xi's Philosophy solitarily prevailed. This thought, however, was completely subverted by the discovery of Xin'an Lixue Xianjue Huiyan, edited by Han Mengpeng. By examining the book, which is a collection of records of Jiangxue activities by Yanming disciples in the area of Xin'an from the years of Jia Jing to Wan Li during the Ming Dynasty, we discovered that Jiangxue activities of the disciples of Wang Yanming were often carried out in the area in those days and how their Liangzhi Xinxue, based on lineage, prevailed and infiltrated the area through the network of Jianghui spread out in hierarchies.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
韓夢鵬編『新安理學先覺會言』は、長らく刊行されることもなく、手書きの抄本としてのみ伝承されてきた資料であり、明代中晩期の新安における陽明学派の講学活動の実態を知る上で、極めて貴重な文献であるが、これを精読し、詳細な訳注を付して、現代日本語訳することは、思想史的資料としても、哲学的資源としても、学術的に極めて重要な意義を有する。また、社会的には、本書を、現代日本語で読んで理解できるかたちにして、哲学資源として提供することは、一般の人々においても、哲学的課題（人生の意味など）について考える上で、とても参考になり、有益であると信じる。
