本研究は、人類のみならず、非人間・非生物を含めた生命圏上に存在するすべてのヒューマン・ノンヒューマンの生存とその維持を究極的な目的とするグローバル関係論を構築するために、既存の国際関係論の時間認識・空間認識を、歴史的・理論的・哲学的に検証し、グローバル関係論はいかにして可能なのか、そのためには国際関係論をどのように再構築するべきなのかを改名することを目的としている。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study sought to reconstruct the theory of international relations, which has tended to be anthropocentric, or only concerned with the survival of humankind, as a theory of global relations that aims at the survival and maintenance of all beings in the biosphere, including non-humans and non-living organisms. To this end, we have clarified how the aforementioned theory of international relations, and by extension the modern humanities and social sciences, including international relations, are based on the premise of time and space perception, and how they are constructed and constrained by history, thought, theory, academic knowledge construction, and social practice centered on politics. By doing so, we have clarified the basic perspectives of global relations theory, the challenges to be overcome, and the conditions and methods of social implementation.

本研究は、既存の国際関係論の時間論、空間論的基礎づけを分野横断的な学際研究によって解明することでの、よりよい世界をデザインし、その構築を実践するための基礎的な展望を獲得するための新たな視座を構築するという学術的意義を有している。その社会的意義は、単なる学知のアップデートにとどまらず、時間認識・空間認識の更新をペダゴギーなどの面から社会に実装していく上での課題と実践について基礎的な視座を獲得した点にある。
