Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We hold transdisciplinary meeting for digital inclusion and healthy ageing. Six times of international cross-cultural exchange meetings were attended by participants from more than 10 countries: The meetings are bi-monthly organized. Meeting reports are published in Japanese, English and Thai languages: https://digital-ageing.com/surveys-and-blog/ Data collection and analysis : Community Surveys in all four countries of Japan, Republic of Korea, Singapore and Thailand have been successfully carried out. In addition, the qualitative focus group interviews applying cross-cultural empathy framework have been conducted in Republic of Korea and Singapore. Additionally India has joined DIHAC study in 2023. Publication: An original research article has been published in the Digital Health Journal (https://researchmap.jp/myonyeinaung/published_papers/45556581) as international publication. Another research article publication is in peer-review and about to be published in JMIR ageing Journal.(https://researchmap.jp/myonyeinaung/published_papers/46228867) Keynotes and Panels: Principal investigator was invited to present keynotes at Contemporary Advance in Global Health and Nursing, Mie University, 15th Mar 2024, The 5th Juntendo University & National University of Singapore Joint International Forum for Sustainable Healthy and Ageing Society 15th December 2023 and Seminar on Implementation Research” by Health System Research Institute, Thailand, Pullman Hotel 25th April 2023 Pullman Hotel, Bangkok Thailand, MFIU-AGING 2023 December 28-29 and Swiss Embassy Tokyo, 5th March 2024.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
1: Research has progressed more than it was originally planned.
Reason
We could hold regular international trans-disciplinary meeting every two-months. It is more than we have planned and expected. International participants eagerly joined DIHAC cross-cultural exchange meetings. It is because of timeliness of the research, our networking abilities, topic of the research title being a global interest, and Zoom technology. DIHAC website serves as rapid communication and contact for international collaboration. We published an original article about digital inclusion and health promotion in Korea in 2023. There are data from four countries and we are analyzing the data. Invitation from International Telecommunication Union, Asia Pacific Region, to hold an information about DIHAC study has been received. Effective team work promoted research, reports and network.
