Outline of Research at the Start

ネガティブな記憶や未来についてのイメージがふと頭に浮かぶ現象（無意図的想起）は精神疾患を抱える方に幅広く観察されます。本研究では，ネガティブな無意図的想起がなぜ生じるのか，「ふと浮かんだ」という感覚がなぜ生じるのかを，心理学的に明らかにすることを目的としています。この研究の仮説は，記憶を思い出したり未来のイメージをする過程に対する内的な注意が欠如していると，無意図的想起が生じたと主観的に判断されやすくなるというものです。その実証のために，記憶を思い出したり未来のイメージをする課題を実施し，「ふと浮かんだ」判断に関連する指標を探究し，また，それが精神疾患と関連するかどうかを検討します。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2023年度は，内受容感覚の調整を意図したマインドフルネス介入によって自伝的記憶検索と検索過程の主観的判断に変化が生じるかどうかを検討した。研究分担者とともに身体感覚に対する気付きを高めるための8週間マインドフルネス介入プログラムを開発し，ランダム化比較試験を実施した。松本市近郊の参加者をマインドフルネス訓練群と対照群に割り付け，最終的にマインドフルネス群26名，対照群30名が解析対象となった。マインドフルネス介入は内受容感覚尺度得点の増加，マインドフルネス尺度得点の増加，抑うつ得点の低下，不安得点の低下に寄与しており，プログラムの有効性が確認された。マインドフルネス訓練が不随意記憶課題および随意記憶課題における記憶検索過程の主観的認識に与える影響について解析した。その結果，不随意記憶課題においては，介入群の検索の突然性が低下し，検索に費やす労力が増加した。さらに，随意記憶課題においては，介入群において，記憶が直接検索されたと判断する率が低下（生成検索されたと判断する率が増加）することが示された。なお，マインドフルネス訓練が記憶想起数自体を増加させたり，記憶の特定性を向上させるような効果は認められなかった。
以上の結果から，マインドフルネス訓練には記憶の検索過程に対する気付きを促進する効果があると結論づけた。侵入記憶に代表されるフラッシュバックは，検索の突然性が非常に高く，また，強いネガティブ情動が喚起される傾向にあることが知られている。本研究で開発したマインドフルネス訓練は検索の突然性を緩和し，ネガティブ情動喚起の防止につながる可能性があり，臨床的な示唆に富むものである。これらの知見は今後，専門学術誌への投稿を予定している。
