Outline of Research at the Start

ベクトル束の接続のホロノミーの高次圏を構成し, 高次のホモトピー亜群の圏の表現,組みひもコボルディスム圏などを研究する.また,幾何学的量子表現の成果を量子計算に応用する.共形場理論における曲面のモジュライ空間上のベクトル束の接続をGauss-Manin接続として周期積分を用いて記述し,その圏化を構成する. 結晶群の表現論とオービフォールドを用いて,量子力学における結晶のバンド構造への応用など,幾何学と物質科学に関する分野横断的な研究を実施する.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

高次圏におけるホロノミー関手に拡張する理論的な枠組みについて,特に2次ホロノミー関手の具体的な構成についての成果を挙げることができた.これにより,超平面アレンジメントの補集合の2次ホモトピー型の研究に応用することが可能になり,従来まで行われていたホモロジー接続などよりも広いクラスの接続の2次ホロノミー関手を扱うことができるようになった.共形場理論についての研究では,colored Temperley-Lieb-Jones圏についての進展があり,構成された組みひも群のユニタリ表現の物質科学,量子計算への応用について研究が進んだ.また,研究代表者は明治大学MIMSにおいて「トポロジーとその応用融合研究セミナー」を開催し,分野横断的な研究交流を促進することができた.共形場理論におけるモノドロミー表現が量子群対称性をもつことの枠組みを用いて,結び目,空間グラフ,3次元多様体などの位相不変量の構成を行い,物質科学,分子生命科学の分野の問題への応用を進める.構成した離散群のユニタリ表現の量子計算への応用について研究を遂行した.このようなトポロジーと数理物理の新しい手法はモーションプラニングなど工学の問題とも関係しており,センサーネットワーク,ロボティックスなど応用面の研究を遂行する.このような分野横断的な研究は研究代表者が明治大学先MIMSで実施しいる「トポロジーとその工学,生命科学への応用」についての融合研究プロジェクトと連携して遂行した.

Reason

高次圏におけるホロノミー関手についての研究が進捗し,特に2次ホロノミー関手の具体的な構成についての成果を挙げることができた.本年度は超平面アレンジメントの補集合の2次ホモトピー型の研究への応用を進め.この成果を立教大学で開催された"Hyperplane arrangements 2023"で発表し,超平面配置の研究者との交流を進めることができた.
共形場理論についての研究では,colored Temperley-Lieb-Jones圏についての進展があり,構成された組みひも群のユニタリ表現について物質科学ではanyonの研究,量子計算では普遍的な量子ゲートの構成について研究が進捗した.明治大学MIMSにおいて「トポロジーとその応用融合研究セミナー」を開催し,分野横断的な研究交流を促進することができた.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

高次圏におけるホロノミー関手の研究がまとまりつつあり,若手向けのチュートリアルなども含むワークショップを開催してこの分野の研究促進を行って,さらに分野横断的な研究を進める計画である.2024年度はEast Asian Conference on Geometric Topologyを東京で開催予定で,研究代表者はProgram Committeeのメンバーである.この研究集会を契機として高次圏によるトポロジーの研究を国際的に推進することを目指している.
このようなトポロジーと数理物理の新しい手法はモーションプラニングなど工学の問題, 結び目とDNAなど生命科学の問題とも関係しており,研究代表者が明治大学先MIMSで実施しいる「トポロジーとその工学,生命科学への応用」についての融合研究プロジェクトと連携して遂行する.
