Outline of Research at the Start

「群れ」をうまく操るための制御理論を構築します.理論の有効性を群衆の誘導,魚群の誘導,脳領域の活発化という3つの課題を通じて確認します.従来の理論では簡単に扱うことのできないような「異種混合」の群れを扱います.また,音声や電場のような「拡散性」をもつ制御入力により群れを操ることができるようにします.群れの誘導と分離という基本的な2つのタスクが実現できるような理論の構築を目指します.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

研究計画記載の通り,拡散的刺激を用いた群れの誘導,分離制御手法の開発に継続して取り組んだ.前者については,牧羊犬と呼ばれる刺激印可用の外部エージェントが角度情報しか測定できない状況におけるshepherding手法を提案し評価を行っている.当該成果の有効性評価は概ね済んでおり,現在は欧文査読付き学術論文誌へ投稿中である.また,人間の脳に代表されるようなニューロンネットワークにおいて所望のニューロン発火パターンを実現するための制御電流設計手法を提案した.当該手法はモデル予測制御と呼ばれる制御技術に基づいており,ニューロン数が15から100程度のネットワークの制御における有効性が確認されている.本成果は査読付き国際会議にて発表済みであり,現在は欧文査読付き学術論文誌へ投稿中である.さらに,shepherdingとは双対の関係にあるleader型の誘導制御手法の提案と評価を行った.誘導制御対象の群れが異種のエージェントから成る場合においても一定の誘導制御が可能となるようなリーダーの機動法則を設計した.この機動法則は群れの重心の経時変化に基づいてリーダーのダイナミクスを変更するものであり,新規性が高い.本成果は欧文査読付き学術論文誌へ投稿中である.分離制御手法については,同じくshepherdingと呼ばれる枠組みにおいて,特定のエージェントを所望の地点付近にとどめるための牧羊犬軌道法則を提案し,査読付き国際会議にて発表済みである.同手法は制御理論に基づいており,その性能に対する数学的な保証が与えられている点において,従来のshepherding研究とは一線を画する.

Reason

研究課題申請時に掲げた計画に概ね沿った進捗が得られている.最終年度に予定していた実検証についてはコロナ禍の影響で準備が遅れているが,研究遂行から得られる知見に影響を及ぼさないようにシミュレーションを併用しつつ進める.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

過去3年度に得られた成果を統合し,異種群の誘導,分離制御のための統一的な理論を整備する.また,得られた理論の実検証を可能な範囲で積極的に進める.実検証は上述の通りコロナ禍の影響で準備が遅れているが,研究遂行から得られる知見に影響を及ぼさないようにシミュレーションを併用しつつ進める.
