Outline of Research at the Start

農産の生産・流通・販売までの一気通貫したサプライチェーンにおける数理最適化手法,情報共有システムとそこから得られるデータに対する分析技術を融合して,補助事業期間中に実フィールドでの実証実験を実施し,取得されるデータの分析を行う.具体的には,本研究の応用先として検討して,東広島市近郊の状況を考慮し,地産地消モデルとして学校給食に焦点を当て,いかに廃棄量を少なくしながら周辺地域の就農者の利益を確保し,かつ給食であるということからも質を担保した生産が可能となるかを,研究代表者である蓮池が数理的側面から,研究分担者である松本と加島が情報共有システム運用の両側面から検討する.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2022年度までは,地産地消の農産物流通に関する数理モデリングの発展,ならびに情報技術の応用を中心に,地産地消を目指した農産物サプライチェーンへ応用できる形まで研究を進めていた.2023年度においては,開発している地産地消の情報共有システムに組み込み,システムのユーザビリティの向上,収集データの分析につなげることを念頭に、実フィールドへの応用を検討,実証事件に向けた予備段階のデータ収集や分析を行った.
具体的には,東広島市を対象として,農家の生産物を地域の給食センターに納め,学校等の公共施設で消費する地産地消モデルを中心に,数理最適化手法の開発,実現場への適用も兼ねたプロトタイプの開発検討を行った.さらに,給食で必要な食材の提供可能性や価格設定など,地域農家の労働環境,収益改善も行うことができるように,まずは農家や生産可能農産物,生産面積等のデータ収集を行い,それらのデータの情報共有システムへの組み込みを行った.これらにより,実用へ向けた学術的基盤はほぼ完成し,2024年度へ向けた実証分析の準備を完了させた.
成果発表の観点では,2023年度は多くの国際会議での発表により成果報告を行った.特にIEEEなどの著名な学会にて査読付き論文として採録されていることから,本研究の学術的価値は国際的に認められた形である.さらに,多くの国際会議や研究会で発表を行うことで,国内への社会貢献,認知度の拡充に努めた.

Reason

2023年度において,本研究で用いる地産地消を念頭においた農産物流通の数理モデル,ならびに情報共有システムの学術的価値は認められ,実応用へ向けた基盤はほぼ完成した.さらに,実応用へ向けた予備データとしての農家情報,生産可能な農産物などのデータ収集が順調に進み,2024年度へ向けた実証実験の素地ができあがったと考える.さらに,実証分析へ向けた地方自治体との連携も順調に進んでおり,2024年度への研究・実証へ向けておおむね順調に進展していると評価する.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

現在までの進捗状況にも示したように,2024年度においては,東広島市(予定)を対象に,実証分析を行う.具体的には,農家の生産物を地域の給食センターに納め,学校等の公共施設で消費する地産地消モデルを念頭に置いて,数理モデリングの完成,実現場への適用も兼ねた情報共有システムの改良を行っていく.さらに,給食で必要な食材の提供可能性や価格設定など,地域農家の労働環境,収益改善などのデータの拡充も行う.
また,2023年度と同様に,地域のスーパーや小売店などの大型消費場所を中心に,廃棄を極力減らすことができる農産物提供手法の開発まで,研究や応用の視野を拡充していく.
