Outline of Research at the Start

激甚化する豪雨の発生により，土で構成されるため池等の農業水利施設は，豪雨が原因となって決壊に至ることがある。その主な原因は越流（表面流による侵食）とパイピング（浸透流による侵食）であり，これらを予測し，防ぐことが施設の防災・減災に重要となる。その際，発生し得る侵食の「予測」と構造物内部に存在する侵食箇所（パイピングなどの空洞箇所）の「同定」が重要な課題であり，本研究課題は上記の「予測」と「同定」の両者に取り組み，生産基盤施設の強靭化に貢献することを目的としている。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は，ため池などの機能損失につながる水の作用による土の侵食について，高精度な現象予測を実現するとともに，水みち（パイピングと呼ばれる）などの構造物内部の空洞領域を同定する逆解析手法を開発することで，農業水利施設防災・減災並びにストックマネジメントに貢献することを目的としている。現在，土の侵食に関する大きな課題は，現象予測の精度不足，水みちなどの施設内部に存在する侵食箇所の同定が非常に困難であることの２点にあり，現象予測（順解析に対応）と侵食箇所の同定（逆解析に対応）に関する研究を進めてきた。現象予測については，土の表面で生じる現象を正確にとらえ，その挙動のモデリングを行うため，浸透流と表面流が同時に作用する地盤表面の挙動を高精度PIV（Particle Image Velocimetry，粒子画像流速測定）装置 によって計測し，変分マルチスケールSpace-Time有限要素法を応用することで侵食現象を安定的シミュレートできる数値解析法を開発できたことで高度な現象予測を可能にする大きな成果を得た。一方，空洞形状の逆解析については水みちや空洞等の境界を直接的に推定することで，それらの形状を同定する基礎手法をこれまで開発してきており，当該年度は逆解析手法の検証のための実験（室内実験を予定していたが現地実験に変更）を進めた。また，計算負荷の少ないアルゴリズムを導入することで，空洞等の形状を同定に必要であった時間を大幅に短縮することに成功した。

Reason

本研究は，土構造物に発生する侵食について高度な「予測」及び「同定」を目的とするものである。実験については，計測の難しさはあるものの，改善を繰り返しながら進めることができた。また数値解析（＝「予測」）や逆解析（＝「同定」）のための計算については問題なく進展している。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

土を取り巻く水の流れの計測精度においては，細かい実験装置の調整を行うことで更なる改善を行う。現象予測のための計算コードはさらに安定性を高める方策として，変分マルチスケール有限要素法の枠組みの中で、安定化項をより正確に評価する方法を模索する。
