| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究の目的は、会話において発話を他者に宛てる(アドレスする)行為に見られる多様性を、会話コーパスへのアノテーションに基づく実証的分析により明らかにすることである。具体的には以下のことを行う。
課題A：発話のアドレスのアノテーション手法を開発し、会話コーパスに施行する。
課題B：Aに基づき、以下の観点から会話におけるアドレスの多様性の実態を明らかにする。B1）アドレス手段の多様性、B2）アドレス先の多様性、B3）アドレスの多層性
これにより、多人数コミュニケーションの革新的なモデルを構築するとともに、多様なコミュニケーション状況における会話支援の方策を提案する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this study is to empirically investigate the diversity of addressing behavior in conversation, based on annotations applied to conversation corpora. The main findings are as follows: 1. Annotation guidelines were developed for both linguistic and non-linguistic resources used as means of address, and these annotations were systematically applied to conversation corpora. 2. Through quantitative and qualitative analysis of the annotated corpora, the study revealed (i) the relationship between addressing means and the interpersonal relationship between participants, (ii) the relationship between the addressee of the utterance and the target of the action, and (iii) mechanisms of virtual interaction enabled by open communication. 3. Based on insights from related fields, the study also conducted a theoretical examination of a cognitive-pragmatic model of addressing behavior.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究は、発話のアドレスに関する体系的な研究として、国内外で初めての試みであり、実証研究としても理論研究としても、その学術的意義は非常に大きい。とくに、今後公開予定のアドレス行動のアノテーションデータは、コーパス言語学・相互行為分析などの言語・コミュニケーション分野での活用のみならず、人工知能分野における対話システムの機械学習データとしての利用など、幅広い波及効果を持ち、その社会的意義は極めて大きい。
